Boys Camp Out While Girls Tea Party

Last weekend was the annual Father and Son Campout with our ward.  Dad and the boys packed up the Durango and headed out despite rainy forecasts.  They enjoyed yummy outdoor cooking, entertainment by the camp fire, and literally a night out(side). 

While they were away, the girls dipped strawberries in chocolate and made other preparations for our tea party the next morning.  The girls watched a princess movie and slept in the family room.  Saturday morning three of Bethany’s friends joined us. Mom painted their nails, helped them make bead necklaces, and they got to wear make-up while eating yummy food and drinking “tea” (crystal light) using Mommy’s nice dishes.
